Ibrahim Yattara (born June 3, 1980 in Kamsar) is a Guinean footballer playing for the Turkish club Trabzonspor.

[edit] Career

Ibrahim Yattara began his career in his native Guinea with the team San Garedi. He moved on to Atletico Coleah, another Guinean club before embarking on his career in Europe. He joined Antwerp FC in Belgium in 2000 and was used primarily on the right side of midfield. Yattara joined Trabzonspor in 2003.

He plays international football for Guinea and was part of the Guinea squad for the 2004 and 2006 African Cup of Nations tournaments in Tunisia and Egypt. In 2005 Yattara said that he would have played for the Turkey national football team if he hadn't already played for Guinea.

[edit] Playing style

Yattara is best player in Turkey due to his technical abilities. He can use the wings expertly, especially with his dribblings down the right to serve for crosses. He has some smooth finishing skills and shows his composure up for the middle range freekicks as well.

Despite these facts, he has been criticized several times for his lack of consistency and having injuries frequently. He is also a mentally fragile player whose concentration and conrtibution could collapse in any negative circumstances on the pitch.

His playing style is something like Ronaldinho and is consider one of the best players in the Turkish league.Other big soccer clubs Fenerbahce ,Galatasaray and Beşiktaş J.K. wanted him for a transfer but he did not want to play in any other team than Trabzonspor. He is married and has two children. He loves his family and is very happy in Trabzon
