[edit] Club career

After serving 2005-06 on loan to fellow Turkcell Super League side Kocaelispor, Kaş returned to alma mater Beşiktaş J.K., and would amass nearly 50 overall appearances in his two seasons there. He played especially well against Vestel Manisaspor, with 2 goals in the last match of the season, a 5–1 success.[1]On late May, he agreed terms with Spanish outfit Getafe CF, joining for the 2008/2009 season on a Bosman transfer.[2]

[edit] International career

Kaş' decent performances in the league earned him a first callup to the national team, in a very crucial November 17, 2007 away match against Norway, a 2–1 win. He was injured in the early minutes and substituted.[3]
