Talk:Ibn Jurayj

[edit] He was Muslim
"He was either a Jew or Christian who became Muslims” that is not true. His father was even a Muslim scholar. His grandfather (George) was a Roman Christian but not him. Many of these web links do not contribute anything useful to the article.--Truthpedia 19:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, assuming you are right, please do this: Instead of removing sourced info, when you have better sourced info, correct the statmen and add a better source, instead of just removing. Could you please start by doing it here? --Striver 19:42, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Check out Tahdhib Al-Tahdhib by ibn hajar. It is much better reference than these bombo jumbo links that you insert. the only thing it does not say that his his grandfather is George, but it is a common fact that George is Jurayj --Truthpedia 17:39, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, no need to insult my work. This article would not even exist without me, so there is no need to call my work a collection of "bombo jumbo". Yes, i do misstakes, but that can be pointed out in a civil maner. --Striver 12:50, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

One thing to note here: He seems to be among Taba‘ at-Tabi‘in since he never met any Sahabi. I have to check my references. --Truthpedia 22:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- "Taba‘ at-Tabi‘in since he never met any Sahabi"? --Striver 12:51, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Probably that is the correct class. --Truthpedia 21:46, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
