Talk:Ibn Abi Usaibia

[edit] Title: Ibn abi usaibia
The title looks a bit weird like this. I propose Ibn abi Usaibia, or Ibn abi-Usaibia. I don't see a big problem with Ibn Abi Usaibia either. Asabbagh 07:50, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

- This search (sorry, subscription only, but cf. Google Books) shows that Ibn Abi Usaibia has been and remains the standard form in English-language scholarship. The only refinements worth considering would be the dot under the s and the placement of `ayn (Usaibi`a). But it seems Wikipedia articles rarely use such marks in article titles, and when they do it's done distressingly unscientifically (e.g. Al-Ma'arri). Wareh 19:11, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
