The IBM Building is a skyscraper located at 590 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York it was the former worldwide headquarters of IBM. The building was completed in 1983 and designed by Edward Larrabee Barnes. Its structure is gray-green polished granite and is located on the corner of 57th street on Madison Avenue. Most notable about the building is its artistic design, the building has an atrium attached to it which displays modern art with plush green gardens. The IBM Building was sold to Edward J. Minskoff and Odyssey Partners in 1994 for roughly $202 million and still retains its identity today as The IBM Building.
