This article is about the town in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. There is a city in Osaka Prefecture with this name, see Ibaraki, Osaka.
Ibaraki (茨城町 Ibaraki-machi?) was a town located in Higashiibaraki District, Ibaraki, Japan.
The town merged with Mito, Ibaraki on December 8, 2007, and Ibaraki town as an independent municipality ceased to exist.
In 2003, the town had an estimated population of 34,964 and a density of 287.44 persons per km². The total area was 121.64 km².
