[edit] List already in place?

1468 schools, it does not seem like we'll ever finish this list. Isn't this list already published at ibo.net or somewhere?

Yeah, there's a 'schools directory' here, but I think that it's still a good idea to maintain this list (if only for the fact that the IBO site doesn't link to the schools' articles in Wikipedia). ulayiti 19:51, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
I think it would make sense to make it a list exclusively of schools having their own non-stub article in the encyclopedia. --Niels Ø 15:53, May 20, 2005 (UTC)
I disagree - many schools may not be noteworthy to even the state/county they're in, but wikipedia is a referance tool for everyone, and the list's name would be a lie if we were to simply ignore schools with only stub articles. After all, a brand-new school that does the IB would have a stub article - possibly NO article, but that should not preclude it from being in this list. AKismet 18:54, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Note

Shouldn't there be a note somewhere pointing out that this list is far from complete? User:dotx3

Done and Done. AKismet 18:52, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adding new school

Hockerill Anglo-European College, in Bishop's Stortford, United Kingdom. This list is really, really long, and will take doubtless ages to complete. AKismet 18:29, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No IB schools in France?

I live in the South of France, and yet I can't find any IB schools listed there... yet I attend one... (yeah ok the one I'm attending is about to shut down but they're others). In the South-East of France I know of current ISSA (Internationnal School of Sophia Antipolis) (Ex- CIV [Centre Internationnal de Valbonne]) (is closing in June), ISN (Interionational School of Nice), IBS (Intertionationnal Bilingual School of Provence), and the Internationnal School of Monaco. The ISSA/CIV one also had a VERY good reputation these past few years, with high pass rates, high averages, high placement rates, and last year was one of the school to have one of the seven IB graduates who had 45 out of 45.

[edit] List is completely wrong

Listed are schools that apparently offer the Diploma Programme. I can assure everyone that there are only 7 schools that offer the Diploma Programme in South Australia. On the list there are even primary schools (elementary schools). The list seems to be every school in South Australia that is affiliated with any of the IBO's programmes including the PYP and MYP.
