Iardanos (Greek: Ιάρδανος) is a municipality in the Elis Prefecture, Greece. Its seat of administration is the village Vounargo (Greek, Modern: Βούναργο, Ancient/Katharevousa: -on). Vounargo is accessed by GR-9 about 3 km west. The hills are to the north and northwest. The location SE of Amaliada, S of SSW of Patras, SW of Simopoulo, WNW of Olympia, Greece Olympia, NW of Pyrgos and about 16 m NE of Katakolo.

Vounargo is surrounded by olive and other types of groves along with pastures and mixed farming. The mountains, forests and several valleys lie to the north and to the northwest. Much of the mountains are forested. A mining area, situated north of Vounargo, is presently abandoned.
