[edit] Speedy deletion of Brazilian black tarantula

A tag has been placed on Brazilian black tarantula, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Hi. Please don't insert redlinks to non-existent articles, such as "Antmimic spider" - a name which is NOT in use for any species of spiders, and would be considered a misspelling even if it were. For your information, there are several hundred different spiders that are ant-mimics, in at least 8 different spider families, so unless you intend to include a thorough discussion of all of the different types, please don't even attempt to create such an article. That's the kind of thing that invites speedy deletion, as has happened to other articles you've attempted to create. Dyanega (talk) 00:29, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi. A review of your edit history indicates that every edit you've ever made to a biological science article (e.g. Tarantula, Scorpion) has been undone by other editors. You appear to have sincere intentions to contribute, but also appear to be unable to write in an encyclopedic fashion, and evidently you do not understand what is and is not appropriate content for an encyclopedia. As noted in the official guidelines, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information - and your edits appear to be primarily indiscriminate additions of lists or opinions, often completely redundant with links already present, or involving the addition of redlinks to nonexistent articles using titles that would violate MOS guidelines (e.g., using all caps). I really do hate to say this, but if you cannot learn to edit in a manner compatible with the goals and practices recommended for WP editors, it would perhaps be better for everyone involved if you stopped trying to edit until you learn how to do so appropriately; please try to read and understand Wikipedia's editing policies and guidelines before making any more edits. All you are accomplishing at present is forcing other editors to undo your edits, which is not productive for anyone involved, including yourself. If you ignore this message, and persist in making inappropriate edits, then do not be surprised if you get maybe one or two more warnings, and then find yourself blocked from editing Wikipedia. I've never requested a block on a good faith editor before, but you have made dozens of edits now, and not a single one has been constructive, so I'm trying to politely request that you stop.
