[edit] Unidentified Copyright

Hi, I've been investigating this since the alert was placed on the page. Simpson himself has taken an interest in the page and reckons that the picture originates from a 1969 Guardian article about the World In Ferment series. Unfortunately, his cutting doesn't contain any copyright info and I doubt "The Guardian" is adequate evidence to enable the picture to appear again. So, in the end, I've snipped it out altogether for the time being.

I took the info from my copy of the contract I received from the Beeb. It states:

Week Ending; Series 79; Prog 9 Project number: 94LD0511LH0 Broadcast date: from 3.3.95
