Be advised that Ian (Iannes) is another name for John. Hallowed be thy name!

Switched the names to Jannes and Jambres, which are the most popular names, the names identified in the bible. Next used the names Johanai and Mamre which are them names used in the referenced Chronicles of Jerahmeel and equate to Jannes and Jambres. I have no name where the names Iannes and Mambres come from. --Evmore 09:09, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Regarding the final paragraph of the article:

Apart from their opposition to Moses there are other legends about these two Egyptian sorcerers...they lost all memory of the event after that.


I'm curious to know where this information came from. It's very interesting and I went through all the references but couldn't find any mention or cite of it.
