I'm somewhat annoyed because some arse pirate deleted my attempt at a hookful stub to try at a start on an informative article. Why? Just because you have a different POV regarding stubs, or regarding politics, or what?

I'm deleting it because it's patent nonsense about some guy in New Zealand being killed by the CIA, when I can't find any evidence of been having killed. Ambi 04:10, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

It's not patent nonsense. Look Ian Fraser up. Why do you hate freedom? 207.99.6.125 04:15, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, the article says he WASN'T killed by the CIA. User:Rarr

I've redirected it to his party, as all the actual information that was in this article is already there. I've also protected it, so more nonsense stubs, please.
P.S. Why would an article on an alive person mention that they weren't killed by the CIA? Ambi 04:24, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Perhaps to satisfy the conspiracy nuts? User:Rarr

This is ridiculous. Do I go around and change Albert Einstein into a redirect to Relativity? Why can't you give the existence of a stub a chance? Do you think there's no relevance for Ian Fraser beyond a link to another article? This is baloney! And also arse piracy! Why do you hate stubs, and freedom, and doughnuts? How POV! It's not a nonsense stub. You just hate stubs! 207.99.6.125 04:26, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Well, if you actually wrote an article, rather than nonsense vandalism, we wouldn't be here.
P.S. Doughnuts are yummy. Ambi 04:29, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I'm fairly sure that even if it was nonsense, it wasn't vandalism. It's not like he was ruining some innocent stub. User:Rarr

Well, I'm glad we agree on the doughnut issue, since that would have been controversial! But isn't that the point of a stub? Although currently more information on him might be hard to find, surely someone, seeing a stub, seeing, for example, "The CIA might have been involved in his assassination" would be motivated to write more! Just like it says in the Wikerpiecedia stub guide! After all, in the future, surely they might be two different articles! Actually what motivated me was the Ian Fraser disambig page. Three different Ian Frasers and not one of them was worth writing about to anyone! How appalling! So I took it upon myself to stub! Ah, stubs! The great seeds and flax, the yin and the yang and the warp and the woof of Wikipaedia! A caso no? 207.99.6.125 04:34, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Someone interested in New Zealand's smaller political parties might want to follow up this information, even though it's almost certain to be mind-achingly dull. I have been trying to find out if Ian Fraser the broadcaster is the same person as Ian Fraser the founder of Libertarianz. My reason for wondering this is that Libertarianz leader Lindsay Perigo is also a broadcaster, and this would naturally link the two men. —Copey
