Ian Ross (born c. June 1940) is the presenter of the Sydney bulletin of Seven News. Commonly known as "Roscoe", Ross began his career in 1957 at Sydney radio station 2GB. Ian returned to Sydney as National Nine News reporter in 1965. Ross stayed at Nine for 38 years, where he is most known for his position as Today news presenter. There, he also presented National Nine News on many occasions filling in for presenters who were either on leave or sick.

Ross joined Channel Seven in late 2003 to head the station's flagship 6.00pm bulletin. With the help of Ross, Seven News became Sydney's number one news since 2005. Ross currently only hosts Sydney's edition of Seven News from Monday to Thursday, with Chris Bath hosting the news on Friday Nights and weekends.
