Ian Ramsey C of E Secondary School is a Church of England voluntary aided comprehensive school located in Stockton-on-Tees and named after Bishop Ian Ramsey, a former Bishop of Durham.

The current Head Teacher is Mr Mike Davison.
The school gained specialist status in languages in 1999.
Ofsted Report - Good with outstanding features
Ian Ramsey has 5 yeargroups. Pupils in Years 7 - 9 wear a different uniform from those in Years 10 - 11. Year 7 - 9 wear a blue jumper with white shirt and tie, or in the summer a blue polo shirt. Years 10 - 11 wear a black jumper with a white shirt and no tie, or in the summer a blue polo shirt.

Ian Ramsey has opted for a special third option, asking that they can get a rebuild on their current site, instead of the other two proposals stating that the school will move over to the grangefield site. None of these options include shutting down Ian Ramsey.
