Ian Mackley

Ian Warren Mackley CMG CVO (born 31 March 1942) is a British diplomat. He was educated at Ardingly College.
He served as the British High Commissioner to Ghana between (1996-2000).[1]
He was British Chargé d'affaires in Kabul in the late 1980s and featured in a satirical strip cartoon by Steve Bell in The Guardian when the mission withdrew at the time of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.
