Ian Ross Evatt (born November 19, 1981 in Coventry, West Midlands) is an English professional football defender who plays for Blackpool, for whom he signed from Queens Park Rangers on January 5, 2007. He signed an 18-month contract, with Blackpool having an option for a further year.[1] He had been on loan at Bloomfield Road since the beginning of the season.

Evatt scored his first goal for Blackpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup against Norwich City on January 27, 2007. His equaliser took the tie to a replay at Carrow Road.[2]

On March 19, 2007, Evatt was named in the Press Association's League One "Team of the Week".[3]

On December 8, 2007, Evatt returned to action, as a 65th-minute substitute for Michael Jackson in the West Lancashire Derby against Preston North End, after two-and-a-half months out injured.[4]
