Ian Dickson (footballer)

Ian William Dickson (born September 1902, died 1976) was a Scottish professional footballer who's playing position was of a forward. Capewell is best known for his time with Aston Villa. While at Villa Capewell played 83 games scoring 39 goals. Before playing for Villa he played for Queen of the South. He also had spells with Harold Johnstone Motor Works FC, Maxwelltown United and Cheshaw Juniors. He eventually left Villa for Middlesbrough in December 1923.
