Ian Collins (born 24 October in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England) [1] is a British radio presenter.

Ian first became a radio presenter with Invicta FM in Kent, moved to BBC Radio, and then joined the newly launched Talk Radio UK, later renamed talkSPORT, in 1995. He is the station's longest serving presenter.

He presented the hugely successsful Ian Collins and the Creatures of the Night from 1995 to 2002; The Late Night Weekend Show, Ian Collins: Unbranded from 2002 to 2004; The Afternoon Show from 1pm - 4pm for a short time at the start of the Iraq War in 2003; and in 2004, The Mid Morning Show from 10am - 1pm, including a spell co-hosting the show with Mike Parry.

From May 2006, Ian moved on to host The Ultimate Late Show Live, from 1am - 5am, and The Incredibly Early Breakfast Show, from 5am - 6am.

Ian appears regularly on television, including Sky News, BBC News 24, and ITV, including the early evening program, London Tonight, and played the part of a haemovore in Doctor Who,The Curse of Fenric in 1989 [2]

He authored the book, I Bet You Won't Read This: Confessions Of A Night Time Radio Host, ISBN 0953979806, which includes a selection of letters that had been sent into his show, and offers tips on how to get into the radio industry.

Ian is a Chelsea FC fan, a car fan, a kit fan, and a keen political analyst.
