Talk:IAC - The Film and Video Institute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The IAC is an International respected organisation with a 75 year old history in supporting the creativity of amateur / non-commercial moviemakers. Originally this aspect of the moving arts used various guages of film. Currently most participants are using video. Editing is now predominently via computer programmes and interested workers are seeking increased internet links with fellow artists. As I made clear the organisation is non-profit making, with a charitable remit to support the arts. Patrons include Lord Puttnam, Barry Norman, Ray Harryhausen and Ken Russell. There is no SPAM element to this article.

An article need not be about a for-profit company to be an advertisement. (And the notability of these patrons is irrelevant, since notability is not contagious.) --Orange Mike | Talk 21:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
