Iabakoho is a town and commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Taolanaro, which is a part of Anosy Region in Toliara Province. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 3,000 in 2001 commune census.[2]

Only primary schooling is available. The majority 60% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 6% receives their livelihood from raising livestock. The most important crops are cassava and rice; also bananas is an important agricultural product. Industry and services provide both employment for 2% of the population. Additionally fishing employs 30% of the population.[2]
