'I Won't Let You Go' was the first single from Agnetha Fältskog's second English solo-album Eyes Of A Woman. The song was written by Agnetha herself with lyrics by producer Eric Stewart, formerly of the group 10cc.
The track reached the Top 10 in Sweden and Belgium, but due to the lack of any promotion, "I Won't Let You Go" proved extremely unsuccessful elsewhere. In Britain, the song peaked at a dismal #84.
The B-side of this single, "You're There", was also written by Agnetha, and to this day, is the last released song written by her. All future albums and recordings would only feature songs written by other songwriters.
In some countries a 12" single was released that featured an extended-remix instead of the album-version.
