"I Walk Away" is the last semi-widespread release by New Zealand art rock group Split Enz from their last studio album See Ya 'Round. It was written by Neil Finn and released as a single in 1984. The single was only released in Australia and New Zealand, while the album was also released in Canada.
During the recording of Crowded House's first album, it was decided to re-record the song, to let a new audience hear it. [1]
