I Vampiri (aka The Vampires, Lust of the Vampire and The Devil's Commandment) is a 1957 Italian horror movie written and directed by Riccardo Freda. It is loosely based on the story of Elizabeth Báthory. Famed horror filmmaker-to-be Mario Bava, working here as cinematographer, completed the film after Freda quit the production, and therefore I Vampiri is sometimes considered Bava's debut as a director.
