[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Heavengamesforums.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Heavengamesforums.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 19:23, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jedi Exile

You really shouldn’t randomly revert edits that go against the consensus of the article. I’m not trying to come down on you but I’ve noticed you’ve reverted several edits that go against that with any real explanation. Please discuss in the talk page before making such edits, it would really help a lot. Thank you. --The Matrix Prime 05:49, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah. Don't do it. Vasconcello da Gama 09:56, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jedi Exile. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. --EEMeltonIV 18:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

...and a whole bunch of others. User:Vasconcello da Gama is a new account whose content is derogatory, OR, or just plain nonsense. Rather than enter into an edit war, next time flag the user at WP:AN/3RR. --EEMeltonIV 18:23, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
V da G made a couple of reverts after I placed an identical pair of 3RR warnings on that user's page; brought it up at WP:AN/3RR and the editor has been indefinitely blocked. (He also did a near copy-and-paste trying to report you; clearly, you were not blocked.) Sometimes the system works. Happy editing! --EEMeltonIV 19:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:IE7XP.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:IE7XP.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Warning after reverting vandalism

Regarding this revert: Common usage is to leave an appropriate warning on the user/IP talk page after reverting a vandalism edit. —AldeBaer 16:44, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

for the revert on my user page, and sorry for my faulty re-revert ;) --Oxymoron83 16:58, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks for the catch on Algebra. I put in a note to AIV, so hopefully that will stop it for a bit. --Bfigura (talk) 17:09, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikia

When Wales, Beesley and Penchina are expressing concerns themselves over the situation, that makes it "controversial". Stop vandalising just because you now have epeen issues. Random quote you must have missed in the reference: "I am sad to say that I really did not anticipate this or know anything about the history here." - Jimbo Wales. This is a very controversial acquisition and may yet lead to a law suit or even a class action. Leave the article alone if you are just going to stomp around in there with your POV. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.242.194 (talk • contribs)

  • That's great. Now all you need to do is actually source it. -- I need a name 14:09, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/You need a name for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. cf38talk 16:11, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

See section following. It appears a few accounts have been created to impersonate I need a name (talk · contribs). —Wknight94 (talk) 20:03, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:You need a name

I've posted an item at WP:AN/I about YNAN, who claims to be an alter-ego for this account. Given the history of people coming up with similar names for vandalism and YNAN's edits to other editors' user pages, I doubt the veracity of YNAN's claim. Either way, please chime in. --EEMIV (talk) 19:47, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:I need a name on ga.wikipedia - is this you?

Hi there. I'm also sysop on the Irish Language wikipedia. Recently, the following account was created and indulged in some minor vandalism. Can you possibly confirm whether this is you or not (before I block :) )? Thanks - Alison 01:12, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Another admin tipped me off on my talk page that the above editor wasn't you and that you'd been having problems. I went ahead and blocked it (I'm admin over there) but if you need to usurp that account, I can talk to the local 'crat over there and see if I can sort something out - Alison 08:58, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Kreia

An editor has nominated Kreia, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kreia and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 03:29, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for helping revert the constant vandalism to the Princess Leia article. Apparently, that IP editor didn't notice the bikini image was already being used towards the bottom of the page! :) — Cinemaniac (talkcontribs) 23:10, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for cleaning up that spout of vandalism this morning from that IP address. I knew the kids sitting next to me were talking about it the whole time, but could only revert one instance myself, fearing they might see me.
