"I Miss You" is a popular song recorded by Miley Cyrus who also received songwriter credit as Destiny Hope Cyrus. It made its first appearance on the first season of the Disney show Hannah Montana. It was included on and is the second single from the second disc of her double album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus being released to digital radio a month before "See You Again".
The song is a current radio single on digital radio.
The song was written for Cyrus's late grandfather Ron Cyrus after he died on February 28, 2006. It was first performed in an episode of the show Hannah Montana, She's a Super Sneak, by Cyrus as her character Miley Stewart, who sang the chorus of the song, as a remembrance for the character's deceased mother.
