I Love a Charade is the fifth season finale of the HBO television series Sex and the City. It originally aired on September 8, 2002.

The girls are invited to the Hamptons, to the wedding of a man who they all think is homosexual, and his naive fiancee. Carrie meets Jack Berger again in the Hamptons, but talks too much about her past relationships and scares him away. Charlotte goes public with her relationship with Harry, feeling embarrassed by him to begin with (asking him to wear certain clothes and wax his back) but eventually realising that he may not be so bad (And after he tells her about his beach house in the Hamptons.). Miranda gets more comfortable with her role as a mother, but misses Steve. Samantha throws a huge party at Richard Wright's Hamptons house, which she feels she is entitled to as a sort of non-married divorce settlement, after they broke up.
