"I Like It" was the second single by Liverpudlian band Gerry & The Pacemakers. The song reached number one in the UK Singles Chart on 22 June, 1963 where it stayed for a total of four weeks.[1]
The title and opening line of the song ("I like it, I like it") were inspired by a Jerry Lewis catch phrase.
In 1978, The Rezillos did a punk cover version on their debut album Can't Stand The Rezillos.
