[edit] Episode recap
Orson writes a diary entry about an incident that began when he noticed that everyone on the farm was acting strangely, especially Lanolin. Lanolin seemed to be acting mean toward everyone, especially Bo. She first locked him out in the rain (causing his wool to shrink); then she knitted Booker a sweater using Bo’s wool (while it was still on him). Later, during a game of checkers, she became disagreeable toward him for no apparent reason. Bo ignored this by going to bed, but then Lanolin burst in and disagreed with him again.
Bo concluded that Lanolin must not want him around, so he left a note and then left the farm in favor of an old, abandoned shack on top of a hill. Lanolin pretended to not be bothered by this, but she exploded on Wade about it after he simply said hi to her. Orson suggested that she missed Bo, which she denied.
Some time later, a fierce windstorm hit the farm, and everyone sheltered themselves in the cellar. Lanolin worried that Bo’s shack wouldn’t withstand the storm, and against Orson’s suggestion to stay in the cellar, she fought the storm and made it to the shack. She told Bo to come back to the farm because of the storm, to which Bo told her that he’d only come back if she really missed him. Lanolin reluctantly admitted that she indeed missed him, and she helped him escape the shack just before the storm blew it away.
Orson ends his entry by writing that everything is almost back to normal, but then Bo and Lanolin walk by arguing over whether Lanolin said she missed him. Orson then concludes that everything is definitely back to normal.
[edit] Notes
- Roy does not appear in this episode.
- Sheldon does not speak in this episode.
- Bo wears Garfield pajamas.
- Interestingly, this episode was aired on December 10th. There is a bit of a connection to that date and Christmas, as in the title card, there is a note on Bo's behind that says "North Pole".
[edit] Goofs
- Initially, Bo’s pajama top has an ordinary picture of Garfield on it, but later the picture has a Z (for sleeping) on it -- and Garfield’s eyes appear to be open.
[edit] Quotes
Bo: I’m not sleepy. Maybe I’ll count people till I doze off.
