"I Know You're Out There Somewhere" is a 1988 single by the progressive rock band The Moody Blues. It was written by guitarist Justin Hayward, and it is the sequel to the Moody Blues 1986 single "Your Wildest Dreams", also written by Hayward. Following its release as a single in May of 1988, it was included as the opening track of the 1988 album Sur la Mer.
The song's lyrics continue from the the lyrics of "Your Wildest Dreams". The lyrics from "Your Wildest Dreams" told the story of a man who was remembering back on his "first love", and wondering if she still remembers him the same way. In "I Know You're Out There Somewhere", the man realizes he still loves her, and vows to "return again" to her.
As with "Your Wildest Dreams", a music video was produced for "I Know You're Out There Somewhere."
