I Hope You Dance is a 2000 album from Lee Ann Womack, released on MCA Nashville Records. Its title track was a crossover hit in 2000, peaking at #1 on both the Country and Adult Contemporary charts and reaching #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The tracks "Ashes by Now" (a cover of a minor single for Rodney Crowell in the 1970s), "Why They Call It Falling", and "Does My Ring Burn Your Finger" were all released as singles as well. Also covered here is "Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good", originally recorded by Don Williams.
