An infobox was requested for The Happenings' 1967 recording of "I Got Rhythm" at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Missing_encyclopedic_articles/List_of_notable_songs/7.

I'm not sure about that fact, but I think the original recording wasn't by Ethel Merman, but by Ethel Waters in 1930.

how can "The song melody uses the four notes of the five-note pentatonic scale" it can use four notes of the five note scale, but there are not the four of five notes Jollyjoegiant 02:28, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
