[edit] Notability

Below is an exerpt of the notability guidelines for songs:

A song is probably notable if it meets one or more of the following standards:

  1. It has been covered in sufficient independent works.
  2. It has been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups.
  3. It has been ranked on a national or significant music chart.
  4. It has been recognized by journalists, biographers, and/or other respected cultural critics as being significant to a noteworthy group's repertoire.
  5. It has won a significant award or honor.

Could you indicate which point(s) it satisfies. Presently, the article does not assert the notability of the song, but that can be fixed, if you provide the rationale. Martijn Hoekstra 13:52, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

It satisfies the first and second points. Gareth E Kegg 13:56, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Ah, I see from your last edit on the article page that it indeed statifies the point for being preformed independantly. As for the coverage in independent sources, you could improve the article by adding some of those sources, and incorporating what they have to say into the article.
