IMDb profile |
I Dreamed of Africa is a 2000 film starring Kim Basinger, Vincent Perez, Eve Marie Saint, Garrett Strommen, Liam Aiken and Shannon Esra. It is based on the autobiography of Kuki Gallmann, an Italian who moved to Kenya and became involved in conservation work.
The film, on the whole, was not received well, despite praise for Kim Basinger's performance. There were accusations that the screenplay "stole" too many incidents from the motion picture Out of Africa, which was adapted from Karen Blixen's autobiographical book. [[1]]
