"I Don't Want To"/"I Love Me Some Him" is the third single released from Toni Braxton's multiplatinum second album, Secrets. Written and produced by R. Kelly, this ballad describes the agony of a break-up. The single shot to #19 on the Hot 100 and #9 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles in the summer of 1997. It was double-sided with the radio-airplay smash single, "I Love Me Some Him". While not as successful as the two preceding singles, "I Don't Want To" was a welcomed addition to Toni's consistent career. It became her third consecutive number one single on Billboard's Hot Dance/Club Play in 1997.

The music video was shot during a hectic time in the Grammy-Award winning singer's career. After the truimphant success from the preceding singles and co-headlining a tour with jazz great Kenny G., Toni was exhausted. The time schedule for a video was roughly one day for director Billie Woodruff. A simple video featured Toni wandering around in a white room wearing a white tanktop and blue jeans. Even with the tight filming schedule and simple concept, the music video is one of her most acclaimed.

"I Love Me Some Him" was a major R&B airplay hit during the course of 1997 and while there was no music video, it has become one of Toni's most requested singles.
