"I Don't Wanna Be a Star" is a 1995 single by the Italian band Corona. It was the fourth and last single from their 1994 debut album The Rhythm of the Night. The song was released in December 1995 in the majority of the countries worldwide.
It was a nightclubs hit in many European countries, but unlike the previous Corona's singles, it had disco sonorities[1]. "I Don't Wanna Be a Star" didn't peak at the same great positions as "The Rhythm of the Night", the first single, but achieved a moderate success. It managed to reach #6 in Finland.
It was the Corona's last major hit.
