'I Don't Live Today' is a song, written and first performed by famed guitarist Jimi Hendrix. The original (mono only) version appeared on his debut album Are You Experienced, released throughout most of the world (except USA & Canada).
"I Don't Live Today", is also included on Hendrix's 2003 album Live at Berkeley: 2nd Show. The live Berkeley version plays 5:26, while the studio recorded version on Are You Experienced? plays only 3:55. The studio version also includes the spoken statement by Jimi: "There ain't no life nowhere."
