"I Can Sleep When I'm Dead" is the title of a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Jason Michael Carroll. The third chart single of his career, it is also the third single from his 2007 album Waitin' in the Country.
The song is an up-tempo in which the central character is kept awake by a fast-paced life which allows him no time for sleeping. He resorts to such measures as "a closet full of Red Bull" to help maintain this lifestyle, claiming that he can "sleep when [he's] dead."
"I Can Sleep When I'm Dead" debuted at #59 on the Hot Country Songs chart dated February 16, 2008.
