"I Can't Sleep" is a single by country musician Clay Walker. It is the second single released from his 2003 album, A Few Questions. This song reached the Top 10 in late June 2004, reaching a peak of #9. Clay co-wrote this song with Chely Wright, who also sang harmony vocals on the song.[citation needed]

The song describes a narrator who has been up all night long waiting for his wife to return home, claiming that:

I'm not gonna sleep till I touch your face
Baby, not a wink, I could go for days
If you ever needed to see me down on my knees
Take a look at me, baby, I can't sleep

In the second verse of the song, the narrator looks back at when his wife said, "We couldn't last / [He] couldn't swallow [his] pride", and that losing her wakes him up in the middle of the night.

The music video features Clay wandering the streets of a foreign city looking for the one he loves. Some scenes also feature him sitting on his bed singing the song.

This song debuted at #55 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart dated December 13, 2003. The song charted for a total of 29 weeks, and finally peaked at #9 on the chart dated June 19, 2004. In addition, this was a minor Hot 100 hit, where it peaked at #61 on that chart.
