At 2:30 last night, I went to a street race in Chicago. My BMW M3 GTR vs. Rick's 1992 Acura NSX (challenger). So yeah I'm at the race talking to Rick, and he told me "Man oh man is your car nice... Such a shame that when you lose, its goin' into my garage to gather dust, never to see the day of light again..." I just said "OK, but don't go crying to your mama when I eat you, and your car alive!" OK so when the traffic signal we waited on turned green, we sped off into the city lights. Our starting point was at the intersection of W Division st. and N Orleans st. and the first one to the beach gets $7,500.00 and the loser's pink slip (car). OK so Rick gets a head start ahead of me, but after I shift into 4th gear, I caught up to him. The streets were rather empty, so we didn't worry about cars or anything, but then, out of nowhere, a cop comes into sight. Because I was to preoccupied with the waiting cop, I didn't notice Rick pull ahead of me. After that I notice the cop isn't in his car, so I said to myself "Well, what a waste of time that was..." So then I see rick about 3 seconds ahead of me, so I pulled out my big friends... Two 20lbs. bottles of Nitrous Express nitro! I hit the button on my steering wheel, and my BMW literally flew into the sky! I look at my speedometer to see that I'm going about 189 mph and climbing! I overtook Rick like he was driving a tracter, and that's about when my first bottle ran out. My nitros came wit bottle warmers, so my nitro slowly refilled itself, but too slow for me, and I couldn't unleash my second on, because I wouldn't stop in time to avoid hitting the beach. Directily next to each other we were, and the finish was about 10 yards away. I then shift into 6th gear, and for some reason, Rick falls behind like as if his car ran out of gas or something. I cross the finish first, he crosses last. So yeah I won that street race! I asked Rick, as a tow truck came to pick-up my BMW to take to my secret garage in Chicago (because I wanted to drive my new Acura NSX abit), "Why did you fall behind at the finish? You could've won!" He replied in a depressed voice " My Acura was overheating, and it was at the point where if I had my foot on the accelerator any longer, my car's engine would've blown to bits, along with me. You'd think I'm sad cuz I lost, right? Not really... It's just a car, after all..." It's too bad, because he could've left Chi-town with $7,500.00 bucks and a new car, but it's obvious he didn't care much that he lost... Oh well, I left Chicago that night richer, and with a new car in my garage!
