I Ain't Superstitious
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"I Ain't Superstitious" is a song written and performed by bluesman Willie Dixon in 1962. The song recounts various superstitions, probably based in the deep south of the United States. However, the superstition mentioned that most will be familiar with is the one about the black cat.
The song has been covered by many artists, including The Jeff Beck Group (a version which was featured prominently in a scene in the Martin Scorsese film Casino), Howlin' Wolf, The Yardbirds, Megadeth, Chris Spedding, and The Grateful Dead.
