[edit] Userbox
Hmm... I'm not absolutely sure what you want me to do. I'm going to make a few changes. You let me know if that's alright.
Edit: Ok, it turns out you created a subpage under a new username. The subpage you created was called User:I'm Nonpartisan/Userboxes/La Leche League Leader
. This is different than your current username, which is User:I'm nonpartison. Notice the capitalization of 'N' in the new page. That's ok. I've moved that page to User:I'm nonpartisan/Userboxes/La Leche League Leader. As you can see, the nonpartison is not capitalized.
For the userbox (ubx), I made the font slightly smaller. I'm not much of a coder myself. ;) I added the ubx to the Health section, as you requested. It's near the bottom. Let me know if you need help in anything else. :) W3stfa11/Talk to me 23:55, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, just for reference, when you leave a comment on a talk page, you should sign your posts. Just a heads up. :) W3stfa11/Talk to me 23:42, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. I'm glad I could help. Send any questions my way when you have them. :) Cheers. W3stfa11/Talk to me 05:47, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Evanston
I don't disagree with you about the coverage of Pickett's death, but I think you misread what I was doing. Linkboyz deleted the entire section called "Controversy" with the edit comment "removed unsourced material--please include sources, how do we know any of this is true?" Although I did not write any of that material, I can assure you that as a 25-year resident of Evanston, the section is well-written, accurate and can be sourced through sources like the Chicago newspapers and the Evanston Review. I simply reinstated the entire section with the intent to go back soon and provide sources. I did not add the material back after you deleted it the first time; someone else must have done so since it was back in the article at the time Linkboyz came along. -- DS1953 talk 02:52, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think we are on the same page. I don't think Wikipedia is the place to discuss local political issues in depth (pro or con) but the existence of general issues like development and the controversial role of NU in the community are worth noting in the Evanston article (with sources, of course). -- DS1953 talk 03:59, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations to our 225 new members |
The newsletter is back! Many things have gone on during the past few months, but many things have not. While the assessment drive helped revitalize the assessment department of the project, many other departments have received no attention. Most notably: peer review and our "workgroups". A day long IRC meeting has been planned for October 13th, with the major focus being which areas of the project are "dead", what should our goals be as a project, and how to "revive" the dead areas of our project. Contribute to the discussion on the the new channel (see below) We decided to deliver this newsletter to all project members this month but only those with their names down here will get it delivered in the future. This is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue. Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned or post news on the next issue's talk page
Lastly, a new WikiProject Biography channel has been set up on the freenode network: Our thanks to Phoenix 15 for setting it up.

[edit] Picture
Given that Kevin Locke is still alive, any picture posted on Wikipedia of him has to be under a free license such as the GFDL, or a subset of the Creative Commons licences (such as cc-by-sa). Images under Flickr are not usually under such licences, but if they are, they can be uploaded to Wikipedia. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 05:04, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- You have to be a little careful with Creative Commons licences since some of them are considered free by Wikipedia, and some aren't. For example, this image has a cc-by-nc-nd licence which is not considered free since it doesn't allow commerical use and doesn't allow derivative works. Licences that are cc-by (attribution) or cc-by-sa (attribution and share-alike) are the ones that allowed in Wikipedia. I couldn't find an appropriate one on Flickr, but maybe by contacting the photographers, they will release the image under a suitable licence. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 02:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
