"I'd Like To" is the fifth single, and fourth song released as a single, from English soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae's debut album, Corinne Bailey Rae.
The single was confirmed for release by the administrator of her official forum. The video for the single was shot in Los Angeles the week beginning 20 November 2006 and was originally scheduled to be released on 12 February 2007 [1]. It was premiered on Yahoo UK the week beginning 15 January 2007. "I'd Like To" was released in a slightly remixed and edited form for the single release.
The single became the lowest-charting single in Rae's career so far. "I'd Like To" made number seventy-nine on the official UK Singles Chart, her first single not only to miss the top forty, but the top seventy-five altogether. The album Corinne Bailey Rae, however, re-entered the UK top forty after the release of the single.
It was released in Mexico as a digital-only single on 19 February, it reached eighty-six on the top 100. In June, it was serviced to Hot AC radio in the U.S.
