[edit] Music video

The video for "I'd Lie For You" was directed by Howard Greenhalgh. The video pertained as a nod to the Raiders of the Lost Ark and featured Meat Loaf trying to rescue and win back the heart of the women who cheated on him. The video is an obvious sequel to the "I'd Do Anything for Love (but I Won't Do That)" video, starting off after the motorcycle rides into the sunset (which happened at the end of the "I'd Do Anything for Love (but I Won't Do That)" video). The video was criticized for being too complex and the action scenes being over the top.
