I-Self Lord And Master is a bacronym of the word Islam used by African American social and religious movements such as the Nation of Islam and the Nation of Gods and Earths. It is a breakdown of the word "Islam", which is intended to display the belief that the individual is the God and savior of himself, according to the North American offshoot of Islam.
