i-Caught (official typeset i-CAUGHT) is an ABC News newsmagazine program hosted by Bill Weir. It premiered August 7, 2007 at 10PM ET/PT. Originally a midseason project, six episodes have been ordered to air this summer. It also briefly aired in Australia on the Nine Network. i-CAUGHT completed its 6 week run on September 11th, and it is unclear if it will receive any further episodes.
i-CAUGHT featured news stories based on video images captured by cell phones, webcams, surveillance cams, and the internet -- as well as looking at what happens to the people involved after their video is seen publicly.
Among the individuals whose video clips were featured in the inaugural episode was liquid dancer David Bernal, better known to the video-viewing public as David Elsewhere.
