Hyung-Soon Cha

Hyung-Soon Cha (also known as Hyung Soon Huo), mother of American novelist Theresa Hak Kyung Cha, was born in Manchuria to first-generation Korean exiles. Her struggle in the war-torn country was depicted in Theresa's autobiographical work Dictee.
