[edit] got war
Please confim the copyright status of image:gotwar.jpg as it has a clear copyright notice on it.
Also Image:114810.jpg and Image:1103 korn a.jpg and the other KoRn images. If you own the copyright for these images you can add {{GFDL}} to the image description page. If you wish to claim fair use you can add {{fairuse}}. If you want help, please ask. [[User:Zeimusu|Zeimusu]] 12:48, 2005 Jan 23 (UTC)
[edit] Sin-jin Smyth
The synopsis for Sin-jin Smyth that you keep inserting into the article is copied word for word from the imdb page. This is a copyright violation, which is illegal. Please stop. User:Zoe|(talk) 00:11, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
The internet Movie Database copied it from the official website.
It is not just a synopsis from IMDB, it is a synopsis penned by the writer/director whom I am connected with.
- In that case, you are copying it from the writer/director, and you must get explicit approval from him/her for release to the GFDL. If you re-insert it again without approval, you will be blocked from editing. User:Zoe|(talk) 02:04, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Who do I submit the approval to?
- The person who owns the copyright. Once you have gotten their permission, see Wikipedia:Copyright problems, under "Copyright owners who have submitted their own work to Wikipedia" for how to prove that they are, in fact, the copyright owners. User:Zoe|(talk) 02:40, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Why can't I submit my own version of the synopsis?
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Headplaying.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Headplaying.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] License tagging for Image:JohnPhilbin.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JohnPhilbin.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:05, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Brows.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Brows.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. [edit] Image:Munky089.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Munky089.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. [edit] Possibly unfree Image:Lyricsborn_live.jpg
[edit] Commercial use of Image:Lyricsborn live.jpg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Lyricsborn live.jpg, by N (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Lyricsborn live.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Lyricsborn live.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:35, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:LBpromoshot.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Lbpromo2.jpg. The copy called Image:Lbpromo2.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 00:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of SnapKick Productions
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on SnapKick Productions, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because SnapKick Productions seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting SnapKick Productions, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Richardtyson.jpg
I have tagged Image:Richardtyson.jpg as {{replaceable fair use}}. If you wish to dispute this assertion, please add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}} to the image description page and a comment explaining your reasoning to the the image talk page. Rettetast (talk) 00:48, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
