Talk:Hypha

I believe that discussion of growth of hyphae is important, so I'm going to try to add it. Lotusduck 18:49, 13 November 2005 (UTC)lotusduck
I cannot imagine how the growth of hyphae should work. Is there somebody that might express this more simply? --80.109.81.30 18:56, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What nonsense is this?
What ON EARTH is that comment about "Hyphaes are lil' silver root-like stuff that makes mushrooms not die" doing here!? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.96.222.122 (talk) 14:11, 30 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Removed Hyphae.jpg
I removed the pic on the right because I fear it could be misleading. The picture shows macroscopic structures which readers might assume to be individual hyphae; of course hyphae themselves are microscopic. This pic might be better on a page like mycelium. –Adrian J.
