The orginal design and Branding of HYPE Energy was created by Nigel Spiro and Ashley Roy. They created the product to compete with Red Bull and introduced 4 flavours- Morning Rush, Passion Attack, MFP and Dance til Dawn. During this time they approached Barry Cox ( president of Hard Rock Cafes PLC) to become Chairman.
From 1993-1997 (Led by Ashley Roy- VP International Marketing) Hype Corporation created brand recognition in over 70 countries and were on the brink of taking over Saratoga Springs- a mineral water company in New York. Due to adverse market conditions and the price Rising (fastest moving stock on Wall Street 2 weeks in a row) on NASDAQ made the takeover attempt fail.
