Hyla simplex is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in China, Vietnam, and possibly Laos. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, ponds, irrigated land, and seasonally flooded agricultural land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
